Last Lecture

Dear students and friends,

Have you ever wondered what your last words would be before you die? Or perhaps the last words of someone inspiring?

There is no need to wonder anymore.

Again, we bring you a tremendous Last Lecture that will make those grey cells shiver. A lecture in which an interesting person is asked to give a lecture as if it was his/her last lecture ever to be given. The result is a personal story full of life lessons.

On the 24th of February in room DZ1, starting at 14.00, Randall Lesaffer, Dean of the Tilburg Law School and Professor in Legal History, will speak about the problematic of history as a scientific discipline during the 20th century. Remember, history is about telling stories and so in this lecture Lesaffer will tell his story of his life and how it makes him who he is. It is the history of his awakening as a person and as a historian.

After the lecture we also invite you to join us for a drink in the Dante foyer.

To make sure you have a seat, please register by sending an e-mail to info@extramuros.nl.

For the first time in the Last Lecture history we also broadcast the lecture LIVE, which mean you can follow Lesaffer wherever you want.

All his heroes will be there, you too?

Best regards,
The Last Lecture Committee
